PESS 2007
The Private Equity Software and Service Provider Showcase
18-19 September 2007 at the Park Inn Conference Centre, Heathrow, London
The first PESS event took place in London on 18-19 September 2007, and featured five of the leading private equity software vendors covering the European marketplace, demonstrating their products to an audience of European GPs.
Attending the 5 x 2.5 hour software presentations were 55 private equity professionals from 32 private equity organizations.
Sample delegate feedback:
- "A much needed focus on a niche industry. It's good to talk about relevant processes and technology rather than conceptual ones. Please continue - very valuable".
- "I now have a much better feel of what is out there. Just as importantly, I have a better view of what effort might be required in putting one in and what in-house issues might need to be addressed first to get benefit from a system."
- "…let me congratulate you on organizing an excellent showcase event. I found the presentations were extremely useful and I came away with a very good knowledge of the PE Software capabilities."
- "I was delighted with the event and thank you for hosting it in such an enjoyable way."
- "Just a quick note to say how useful and informative the showcase was."
Note: this event was aimed at private equity houses with a confirmed interest in private equity software and was used by many as a part of their initial selection process. The format cannot necessarily be repeated annually, but 4vco is currently considering the merits of a similar event in the future. If you are interested in attending this type of event please contact us to register your interest and we will keep you informed of progress.
